Bali oh Bali

This entry agak belated untuk dimuatkan dalam blog ni ... dahla takde internet access dah brapa hari sehingga hari ini ... geram tul dgn streamyx ni ...arghhhhhhhhhh. celcom broadband pulak lembab mcm ape ... double argh arghh .. macam hulk hogan pulak aku .. urgh ... anyway, last week pwincess dan prince g va-cay di pulau bali, indon. alhamdulillah selamat pergi dan selamat balik. so antara tempat yang we all visited as the following :

Pesona Beach Inn
This is the resort that we decided to stay in during our trip. It's a budget hotel, so we didnt expect much, bcoz we all dah plan nak jenjalan and sampai2 je bilik leh teus bamm ... and nak tempat yang leh tdo dgn selesa, bersih, takde toilet yang bertakung-takung airnya dan strategic location. PBI juga terletak di belakang hard rock cafe, jadi ia sebenarnye terletak sangat berhampiran dgn kuta square dan in front of the hotel (maybe dlm 20m?) ade kuta beach. Another plus point for PBI is that it comes with free breakfast and it is halal. bekpes toksah expect gedegang2 aa.....depa just bagi a plate of fruits (pisang dia sangat sedap), a choice of omelette/poached/scrambled/boiled egg to be eaten with roti panas dengan jem and butter. cukup la kan? by the way, kalau ade pasangan nak g honeymoon for the first time, pwincess tak rekemen tempat ni...better korang g nusa dua tapi situ susah nak cari makan halal.

On the first day, we explored kuta square, ade banyak kedai-kedai international especially kedai untuk surfing e.g. billabong, rip curl, etc. we had dinner at pizza hut, discovery mall, pizza hut dia takde set meal and sangat different dari pizza hut mesia. dia berbeda dari menu dan juga layanan. macam lagi best kat bali lah. hehe. kitaorg makan pasta, sedap babas!

Nusa Dua
We went there on the second day. cuaca sangatlah terik aritu .. seb baik supir dah bagi supply baik punye air mineral. Kat Nusa Dua ni, supir kitaorg bwk g 2 tempat. satu tu mcm open sangat...means, people can go there and do water sports or sewa boat g tgk turtle, etc. the other one is more private and isolated, sunyi sket lah. and banyak pokok2 tepi pantai, so sejuk la sket.
Garuda Wisnu Kenchana
hmm. kat sini ade patung dewa wisnu yang sangat sangat besar ... sekali dengan dia nye pet, sang garuda. at first kan, pwincess ingatkn mcm ade story la behind this dewa, bcoz patung tu SANGAT BESAR okey ... and without both hands. apesal la kan ... adakah dia menjaga keamanan sampai tercapek tangan ke .... kan? hmm .... skali bile tanye supir, rupenye ... tangan dia tak siap lagi. ha ha ha. kelaka tul jawapan pak supir tu. Dreamland Beach
yeah , as its name implies, it is indeed a dreamland beach for surfers pasal ombak dia sangatlah besar and tinggi. heaven tul. tapi masa kitarg sampai tu, mmg sgt panas, so ala-ala snap gamba apa yang patut and cepat2 masuk apv. Uluwatu
tempat ini sangat romantik ... the sun sets early in Bali (sama macam sabah) but we managed to watch the beautiful sunset here ... sambil2 tu jaga-jaga jugak kot2 encik monyet gemuk dan nakal curik pape ke ... kat sini sangat banyak monyet, so becareful la...

Tampaksiring, Ubud, Coffee Farm, Tegallalang & Tanah Lot
The next day, we had another full day tour of batik weaving, stopped by at Tampaksiring to see the tirta temple, dropped by Ubud to see the Rumah Pelukis and the paintings. Berkenan memang berkenan pada paintings yang dijual...tapi asal pwincess berkenan, mesti ada gamba haiwan. kalau tak gamba haiwan, mesti gamba tu super duper expensive. adoi lah. so terpaksa kensel la niat. ade satu tu, gambo gajah. sangat lovely! tapi takat pegang-pegang and tgk je lah.

We then proceed on to coffee farm that offers the famous kopi luwak or some malaysians call it kopi taik musang. we were offered to taste 4 different drinks here: ginger, lemon tea, balinese coffee and cacao. all of them were tasty!we also managed to see how coffee was processed and also greeted the luwak, or musang yang menghasilkan kopi luwak. agak kiut, mcm kucing yang gemuk, dia tidur je ... ye lah....malam karang dia nak kna menghasilkan najis yang sangat banyak untuk dijadikan kopi so kena dapat rest secukupnya ;p

By noon, we arrived at the mountain village of Kintamani. We were awed by the beautiful scenery of Mount Batur and while we were enjoying the view, we had our lunch at Batur Sari, a halal restaurant overlooking the majestic volcanic cone of Gunung Batur and the lake that fills half of the surrounding, one of Bali's most spectacular landscapes. But, alas, not long after that, heavy clouds began to surround the lake and overshadow Mount Batur, hence, made it a bit difficult to snap the picturesque view. oh ya. kat sini juga terdapat so many aggressive souvenir sellers. so, becareful.

Our next stop adalah Tegalallang, that houses the beautiful rice terraces. Cantik sangat rice terraces, nampak teratur je. and last but not least, sampailah kami kat Tanah Lot. Ada a beautiful rock temple, and ular suci kat bawah rock temple tu. kitaorg tak g la tgk ular suci tu, we busied ourselves with snapping pictures of the beautiful sunset di situ.

Spa and farewell, Bali
On the last day, which fall on my birthday, we spent 6 hours of spa at Sang Spa, Ubud. we were pampered from head to toe there. I would recommend those who want to experience spa with 'balinese feel' here. Kitaorg dijemput dari otel terus ke Sang Spa, and kita disambut mesra oleh staff spa situ. Kitaorg disuruh pilih nak body mask or body scrub and both of us opted for body scrub, and kita dapat pilih scrub apa yang kita mau. pwincess pilih frangipani while prince pilih green tea. Kita juga diberi pilihan menu lunch dan chef di situ orang Islam. tempat tu bersih and ramai tourist yang datang situ.
All in all, alhamdulillah, dapat opportunity g Bali. Perjalanan kitaorg smooth sepanjang kat sana, dapat lak travelmate dan supir yang best, macam ni, nak g lagi la bali ... akekekek
