Melapiskan lapisan

thought of posting up some pictures of my baking project last weekend to ease up sakit perut yang tengah melanda ini...so here goes :

that was my very first time baking a layered cake. i was always intimidated by the large amount of egg yolks used to bake a kek lapis but this recipe calls for only 6 eggs...and it uses up whole eggs, so no wastage at all. and i thought, hey why not try out this recipe .... after all, using up 6 eggs is still acceptable if kek lapis tu tak menjadi, though i really2 hope the cake menjadi ... (amin...) and thank god... menjadi pun kek lapis tu ... okay la kan ... for a first timer ... heheh~


pwincess buat 1 adunan but bake into 2 small square pans so that I can experiment which filling tastes better ... prune or hawflakes ... and ...(drumrolls...) i like hawflakes better though the prune one tiada kurang sedapnya. "tepuk dada, tanya selera".

KEK LAPIS SARAWAK

Bahan A [Dipukul kembang dan ringan]

250 gm susu pekat

250 gm butter --- i use golden churn


Bahan B

6 biji telur SEJUK gred A [kalau gred B..gunakan 7 biji]

1 cawan gula halus --- i use gula castor
2 cawan tepung Naik Sendiri --- i use all purpose flour + 1 tsp baking powder

1 s/k Vanilla
1 s/k ovallate

Bahan C Kurma/asam flake/prune/kismis/coklat chips

Cara
1. Pukul gula dan telur satu persatu sehingga kembang dan gebus /ringan..

2. Masukkan bahan A, ovallate dan esen vanilla. Kacau rata.
3. Masukkan tepung sedikit demi sedikit sehingga habis.

4. Panaskan oven api atas [suhu 170'C]

5. Masukkan 2 sudu besar adunan dalam loyang yg telah dilapikkan kertas minyak.
6. Bakar sehingga masak [10 minit]
7. Lapiskan dengan apa2 pilihan bahan C.

8. Ulangkan step sehingga adunan habis.
