crocs lover

my love for crocs has existed wayyy back some time ago ... was it 2008? or 2007? but i keep on procrastinating on the plan to invest on a pair, for no particular reason. well yeah, initially i procrastinated bcoz i thought : "god ... why is it so expensive for a pair of rubber that we put under the sole of our feet....." (though i clearly understand the need to invest on a good pair of shoes/sandals for various reasons).

well to cut the story short, my love for it sudah tak dapat ditahan-tahan lagi .... hehe macam aper plak kan (dont get any weird ideas now, okay). and so, i bought 1 pair ! yabedabeduuuuuu .... ! but alas, it's not for myself, i bought it for mama. mama's bday is coming and i still have no idea on what to give her .... and one day, she mentioned that she simply adore my pair of wedges (courtesy of prince H) and tingg! beli lah crocs ni ... hehe. i have shortlisted a few ranges that may suit dear mama namely ; sassari and cyprus. and of these 2 types, i have put my utmost consideration and finally, i decided to buy mama sassari. since both ranges are quite tinggi, (3 inches tall) so i guess cyprus may cause pressure to mama's feet and thus, decided on sassari.

so last saturday, armed with enuff cash in the purse, prince H and i marched into crocs outlet in KD and demanded a size 6 sassari. tapi alamak ... size 6 dah out of stock in almost all crocs outlet in malaysia, plus .... the colour that i wanted pun dah sold out and god knows when it will be restocked. hmm hmmm. but guess what? i bought mama the latest crocs on the block .... havana. itu pun selling like goreng pisang panas. size 7 is only available in bronze. uh-huh. i wanted navy for mama. hmm apakan daya. beli sajelah. and meanwhile, oh diriku sangat tak tahan nak beli one for myself too! (melly goeslaw's song tak tahan lagi keeps on ringing in my head at this moment). i'm eyeing for cyprus and alice. but since i hate flatties so much, i might buy myself cyprus ... atau....adakah sesiapa yang sudi menghadiahkan diriku cyprus itu...?? :D

weekend getaway

klang valley was scorching hot that we decided to get some cool air in penang. during our drive, we got the chance to visit some of the relatives (in other words : bertandang) and saja jalan-jalan makan angin. we went to penang hill, botanical garden .... tasted the nasi kandaq line clear ... chendol ... ohhh it was sinfully delightful ! tak sempat nak snap piccies ... terus ngap! anyway, feast your eyes of some of the pictures snapped during the weekend :

siakap 3 rasa

feels like posting up a recipe of a dish that i tried out during last weekend. nothing bombastic, so no worries. here goes :

ingredients:
for ikan :
tepung jagung, garam, gula, serbuk kunyit and cili giling

for sauce:
minyak for tumis
2 heaps of blended bawang putih
4 heaps of blended bawang merah
oyster sauce
2 heaps of cili giling
2 small tomatoes - diced
2 slices of pineapple - diced
daun ketumbar
garam
gula
belacan sket (sape yang prefer lah)

caranye :
1. lumur tepung jagung, serbuk kunyit, garam, gula and cili giling pada ikan siakap ... then, goreng sama dia. put aside.
2. guna minyak yang sama, tumis bwg putih .... bagi dia wangi2 sket, jangan sampai garing pulak...tak sedap gitu
3. tumis pulak bwg merah .... sama kes as previous, tumis bg wangi2 and kuning2 best. sape suke belacan, leh tambah masa ni ...
4. masukkan cili giling and oyster sauce ... bagi sampai naik minyak
5. masukkan pineapple ... tomatoes ... garam and gula
6. bile all set, tup api and tuangkan atas ikan siakap yang dah siap goreng earlier
7. tabur daun ketumbar
8. baca doa makan and ngappp...:D

spa and such

was in the midst of watching the biggest loser and tonight's episode showed that the winner of the challenge would enjoy a full 1 hour of professional massage. and ohhh ... they seemed to be really enjoying the massage, with the oohhsss and aaahhhhsss .... tiba-tiba i pun terasa nak jugak laaa, please, please :p

the last time i had massage and spa was just a week prior to my akad nikah and i had it at khareyana spa, PJ. (readers can check it out at http://www.khareyana.com/index.html). lucky us that the owner was around at that time and she gave a discount when we came .... initially the spa session was arranged for me but the owner berjaya coaxed prince H to have one as well. how sweet ya? so both prince H and i had the traditional balinese full body massage (of course in a different room) and they applied 'bali boreh', the special lulur powder bought and flown from bali and i tell you, the massage was really good that we actually able to put away the wild craziness of preparing the majlis for a while. (takde la wild craziness sangat pun... just feel like saying it ). the spa and massage was good, i supposed, because when i reached home, surprised to find pn zaba there and she commented that i looked glowy mlowy hahaha.

hmm. mama's bday is coming .... wonder if she wud love to have spa session for her bday? (then there's a reason for me to have one as well, dah alang2 drive her there, kan .... ;p)

new invention

if i were an inventor i would invent a handphone that is printer-friendly. it is built with a port that can connect to the printer..... and users are able to print smses, picture messages, contact details, pictures snapped via built-in camera.

reason being is, there are some smses from my dear ones that i feel sayang to delete them, and leave it in the mailbox. but then, the number of smses grew and grew that it left me with little space for incoming smses. cheh. call me sentimental. or whatever, but i have to admit that i once had copied all my smses into a small notebook together with its details e.g. time, date, etc. as if i had nothing better to do, eh ? hehehe ...

well, that is, if i were an inventor. anything is not impossible.

nike pants for sale

we went to nike's warehouse sale at queen's park despite the long drive from home, heavily congested roads, scorching hot day that can easily melt down an iceberg only to find disappointment. the stuff there isn't that cheap and shouldnt be categorised as 'warehouse sale' ... anyway, i grabbed myself a pair of long yoga pants, 1 3/4 pants and 1 bermuda shorts as pictures below. to my dismay, i couldnt fit into the 3/4 pants and bermuda shorts and i couldnt refund or exchange the stuff that are already bought. so anyway, i'm letting these 2 pants (both size XL and waist 158-170cm) go ... any takers? anybody interested, please drop me an email at ddeeana@yahoo.com yeah ..

blast birthday

.... still adamant on posting this entry altho it's kinda belated .... anyway i had a blast birthday this year. thanks to dearie prince H and my family ... on that note, i always thought that mama sure knew how to plan well, bcoz i was born on the last day on month of april .. so i get to have multiple times of celebration since the day after that is always public holiday (labour day)....hehe.....nway, they say, a year older, a year wiser ... i hope it is for me .. plus, a year slimmer and sexier .. and a year full of prosperity ... hahah

on the day itself, i went working as usual since we had to attend the "accounting for dummies" knowledge sharing and celebrated with prince H after work. i guess the celebration may seemed simple to anyone else, but i truly enjoyed it and felt that it was special. prince H got me a digicam ... a huge pink rose and a witty bday card. hehe ... we ate so much, totally worn out and got so sleepy that we actually stopped by the roadside somewhere along kota damansara and had a quick nap. definitely a birthday to remember....
